HeatCommons Celebrates Youth4Climate 2026 Award in Rome

On October 22, 2026, HeatCommons, an initiative led by PassionULab, was recognized at the UNDP Youth4Climate 2026 Award Ceremony in Rome. As the awardee and project lead, PassionULab is driving the development of solar-powered, shared community cooling hubs to address urban heat challenges.

SENSE Institute, as a project partner, contributes research expertise, technical support, and collaborative engagement. Over the next two years, both teams will collaborate on research, design, community engagement, technology development, and pilot implementation in China, with the specific site yet to be determined, to turn this vision into real-world climate solutions.
